Herringbone is a classic laying pattern with a long history – and remains a popular trend. It’s not hard to see why, as it strikes the perfect balance between elegant and modern. PS 500 gives the classic laying pattern a contemporary upgrade with its large-scale strip format. The ultra-matt lacquered finish, which penetrates moisture into every single pore, not only makes the planks look extra sophisticated and natural, but also makes them particularly easy to maintain and resistant to stains and micro-scratches (small scratches in the lacquered surface that do not penetrate through to the real wood covering layer).

Grading

lively grading parquet
In this grading we deliberately offer surfaces with strong colours and structures, which emphasise the wood's natural character. Healthy knots and brownwood are part of the overall lively image. Our oak planks and oak maxi strips do not have any sapwood in this grading. Cracked knots are professionally filled. Small cracks that cannot be filled and knots may appear.
The Duratec Nature ultra-matt lacquer penetrates moisture deep into every pore, making this flooring very low-maintenance and largely
resistant to common stains and household chemicals. At the same time, it also gives the floor an extremely matt and natural look. Ultra-matt lacquered flooring not only offers an anti-fingerprint/footprint effect, but it is also highly resistant to micro-scratches and wear. What’s more, it also requires less maintenance than naturally oiled wood floors.

Brushed
Here surfaces are put through a special manufacturing process where the fine wood wear layer is brushed.
The resulting relief deliberately accentuates the rustic effect and may differ on one plank or from plank to plank, depending on the homogeneity of the natural wood.
