How do I actually install parquet flooring? Can I lay laminate flooring on top of carpeting? Are there special care instructions for my new wood flooring? Customers often have a lot of questions before and after buying new flooring. Here, we try to answer as many of them as possible. Simple video tutorials and step-by-step instructions give you tips and tricks for installation, and detailed explanations make it easy for you to understand all aspects of selecting, cleaning and maintaining your new flooring. In this section you will learn everything you need to know about your new MEISTER product – before and after the purchase. We would like you to have fun purchasing your flooring, and to feel that you have been well informed. To ensure that no questions remain unanswered, you will find articles on all technical aspects of your MEISTER product in the Specialist advice section. The Inspiration section offers suggestions and ideas for trends, style and furnishings.

In particular, there are tips on the following aspects: What about the laying – is floating installation better or should I glue the floor for safety reasons? We will also clarify whether MEISTER floors should be laid by professionals. When laying the floor itself, it is less important whether parquet or laminate is to be laid than which click system is used. Here you will find installation instructions for all floors and click systems. The subfloor is just as important as the newly purchased flooring. It is shown which underlay materials or impact sound insulation are suitable and necessary for which substrate and when an additional PE film is useful as a moisture-resistant barrier.

Care and cleaning come after laying. Cleaning refers classically to the removal of dirt from a floor. It can be carried out daily to weekly with a broom, vacuum cleaner or mop, depending on the floor and the degree of soiling. A floor – in particular a wooden floor – must be cared for approx. 1 x per year. The cleaning and care products we recommend can be found in the respective instructions.
