The benefit of sustainability
As a family company the issues of environmental conservation and sustainability are particularly close to our hearts. This is why we offer a complete MeisterWerke philosophy which sets the focus clearly on these issues. We place great importance on environmentally friendly production processes and products. The purchaser of a MEISTER floor will quickly notice that this philosophy also provides tangible benefits.
Panels:
In 1993, we received the first Blue Angel for one of our panel collections. Our products with Terragen base boards are practically formadehydee-free. Tests have shown that Terragen, in combination with the Terracell surface, even offers an effective protection against mould. This applies to all of our Terra collections. So we see once again that environmentally friendly products do not just serve the environment - they also have tangible benefits for our customers.
Cork and lino:
Cork and linoleum flooring are especially environmentally friendly floor coverings. Both the bark of the cork oak and the natural ingredients of linoleum are renewable resources. But cork and 'lino' are not the only products for which we pay attention to environmental matters. The customer who buys a cork or linoleum floor does not just conserve natural resources, he also profits from this natural material's product characteristics. MEISTER cork and linoleum floors are made of low-emissions materials. Additionally, the elastic floors provide a pleasant living experience.
Laminate:
Not one rainforest tree has to be cut down for a laminate floor with a tropical wood decor. Anyone choosing to buy laminate instead of real wood is choosing to preserve valuable resources - and will also experience tangible benefits. It often takes a second glance to spot the difference between a premium laminate floor such as those from MEISTER. And at the same time, they are extremely robust and durable. Buyers of this flooring can combine the appearance of jatoba and wenge with the practical advantages of laminate flooring.
Parquet and veneer flooring:
The purchaser of a MEISTER floor will quickly notice that this philosophy also provides tangible benefits - we do without solid wood floorboards and only produce parquet floors with wear layers of up to 3.6 millimetres on HDF base panels. Drop tests in our laboratories have shown that the extremely stable HDF also stabilises the real wood wear layer. In addition, these floors are particularly easy to lay thanks to the very precisely fitting click connections.
